There are times in one's work life where things can seem more unpredictable than usual and this can create fear and poor decision making. It is essential for the leadership in the organization to remain poised and aware of the example they set.
Even when facing changes such as organizational restructuring, bankruptcy, lay-offs, and the like, the organizational climate does not have to become sad and somber. Employees should embrace the skills and knowledge they have gained from the role and continue to work as productively as possible while in the midst of change. If this change includes a transition to another line of work, see this as an opportunity for growth and the next great chapter in store for your life.
